CHICAGO STEAK BBQ RUB
This rub provides a perfect blend of herbs and spices ideal for beef, whether you’re making burgers, cooking sausages or grilling a delicious rib fillet.
Add Chicago Steak rub to a tender, delicious cut of steak before grilling, roasting or smoking.
It’s not just for steaks, it’s perfect for burgers, meatloaf, roasts and even pork.
You can also use it on potatoes and other vegetables.
Chicago Steak BBQ Rub also goes great with Smoking.
It works well with cherry, hickory, and mesquite wood chips.
How To Use:
Apply the rub several hours before planned cooking.
First coat the steaks with oil then generously cover the surface with your rub.
Refrigerate in a sealed food container.
Before cooking let the steak stand at room temperature for 30-40 minutes.
Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to high heat.
When hot, grill steak to your chosen cooked state.
Check the internal temperature of the steak using a meat thermometer.
Always allow steak to rest for a few minutes before serving.
Cooked Beef Temperatures:
Blue 50°C
Rare 55°- 60°C
Medium rare 60°– 65°C
Medium 65°– 70°C
Medium well done 70°- 75°C
Well done 75°- 80°C
